2010 O.R. Tambo Edu-Tour Tanzania Report 2010

The O R Tambo Edu Tour is an experientiall earning and youth empowerment initiative aimed at fostering cultural learning and dialogue between youth from South Africa and other countries around the world. O R Tambo Edu-Tours 2010 provided anopportunity for unique experiential learning, targeted at those inspiring individuals who are running initiatives or are participating in initiatives that are improving the livelihoods of young people through education and empowering communities.
The Educational Tour programme is named after O.R Tambo, who was not only a staunch proponent for the development of the community in Mazimbu , but a significant person in South African history and the international arena .He built friendships worldwide and relished the lessons he learnt from the different cultures he encountered. Therefore, through this initiative, the SOMAFCO Trust aims to preserve and fortify friendships to recognize his contributions, achievements and build on these.
