To preserve, promote and constructively use/share the interlinked legacies or ideals of SOMAFCO and Solomon Mahlangu to empower South Africa youth from all backgrounds. To Play a pivotal role in fostering and providing a better education for all Youth. Moral Regeneration; and the cohesion of all South Africans, regardless of political background, race or gender.

The SOMAFCO Prize Initiative can be described as a social organisation plan competition that is aimed at identifying, spotlighting and empowering promising grassroots initiatives which can build community cohesion, act as inspiring beacons to promote a culture of positive initiative, a culture of learning but above all to promote youth development through education. The O R Tambo Edu- Tours is an experiential learning initiative aimed at fostering cultural learning and dialogue between youth from South African and other countries around the world.
The initiative is named after a giant of the liberation struggle and struggle for freedom; the late Oliver Reginald Tambo commonly known a O R Tambo. O R Tambo invested his life, traveling the world to request their support for the principle of democracy in South Africa. Read more
